About Us - Minigrip Commercial

Minigrip is a worldwide leader in the manufacture and sales of reclosable plastic bags for the industrial packaging, medical and institutional food service markets. When Minigrip introduced the first integral zipper bag in the US industrial packaging market in 1959, we marketed our new product with a red line on the lip of each bag. Since then, our trademarked Color Line has become synonymous with the highest quality zipper bag in the world.

Minigrip is comprised of two separate business units: Commercial Products and Consumer Products. Commercial Products manufactures a wide variety of sizes and types of bags and sells B2B markets primarily through distribution. Consumer Products sells private label food service bags and specialty retail items. We also offer customized plastic zipper bags through our Minigrip® custom and specialty services.

In 2007, Minigrip Commercial acquired BagCo and integrated its organization into the Minigrip family brand of products. Today Minigrip Commercial supplies distributors and end users with a focus on quality products and excellent customer service.
